Silicon calcium (Si-Ca) is an alloy composed primarily of silicon (Si) and calcium (Ca), widely used in metallurgical processes, particularly in steelmaking and cast iron industries. Produced by reducing silica (SiO₂) and lime (CaO) with carbon, it typically contains 30-60% silicon and 10-30% calcium, along with small amounts of aluminum, iron, and carbon.

Deoxidizer: Removes oxygen from molten steel, improving quality and reducing oxide formation.
Desulfurizer: Effectively removes sulfur, enhancing mechanical properties of steel and cast iron.
