Calcium silicon, also known as calcium silicide, is an alloy composed of calcium, silicon, and traces of other elements. It is primarily used as a deoxidizer, desulfurizer, and an alloying agent in the steelmaking industry.

Calcium Silicon is an effective oxygen scavenger and desulfurizer, used to produce high grade steel. While silicon itself is a powerful oxygen scavenger, calcium is significantly more effective. Calcium silicate also helps control the shape, size, and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions, improving the final product's flowability, processability, ductility, and impact performance.

Available particle sizes: 10-100mm, 10-50mm, 0-3mm, 2-6mm, or custom granularities according to requirements.

• Deoxidizer: Reacts with oxygen in molten steel, reducing oxygen content and removing impurities to enhance steel cleanliness and mechanical properties.
• Desulfurizer: Reacts with sulfur in steel, controlling sulfur levels that could negatively affect quality and properties.
