Ferro Manganese is produced from raw materials including manganese ore, coke, and lime containing manganese element, which are melted in a high-temperature environment and fully reacted and smelted. As it contains coke during the smelting process, it contains a certain amount of carbon element.

Ferro manganese is a ferroalloy composed of ferro and manganese. The Mn element's density is 7.43g/cm³, melting point is 1245℃, and boiling point is 2150℃.
